What about more field hockey?

Unfortunately there are not currently many oportunities for girls too young to join a team.  USA Field Hockey is developing programs for younger players so hopefully this will change.

Field Sports at Sports Ohio has a variety of camps and clinics for younger players.  This is a great place to start.  Many older players started there and take advantage of Field Sports programs.

Another idea is to keep playing at home.  Practice hitting and running in your yard.  Older players are eager to help younger players.  If you know an older girl, ask her to work out with you.

This is a learn and play min-camp for girls in grades 1-5 who want to learn field hockey.

Sticks will be provided.  Players need to bring shin guards, mouth guard, and water bottle.

To register, fill out the online form below by Feb. 12 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Then print and fill out the Release Form.  Bring the release Form and payment to the first session.

You must fill out the online form to be registered.  Registration will be confirmed by email. 
There is an 8 player minimum enrollment.  The camp may be cancelled due to low registration numbers.  Registrations recieved after Feb. 12 cannot be guaranteed a t-shirt.
